Rev up your download engines – Specops LogViewer hits public beta!

Published 14 July 10 01:45 PM | rodtrent

During TechEd, I mentioned through various means that Specops was developing a cooler-than-cool replacement for Trace32.  Well, Specops dev team has finally pushed the app into beta code and just today it’s available for download and testing.

I’ve used Specops apps for years, primarily for GPO management, but they seem to have the pulse on what’s useful and what is needed within the communities.

Our friends at Specops gave me a demo on the pre-beta code at TechEd 2010 this year – and I was floored.  This is a hugely useful tool and completely free.

Here’s the links to get you started…

P.S. Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 is required to install and run the Specops Logviewer

IMPORTANT: Send all feedback, bug reports, suggestions, etc. on the beta to:  Specops-logviewer@specopssoft.com
