Darwin Sanoy’s new training - App-V Training the 007 Guarantee

Darwin just shot me an email about a cool, new App-V training program he is providing.  Since a lot of you are now working with App-V, or getting ready to, I thought I’d pass along this information.

Here’s his message:

I wanted to let you know that we are offering App-V Training.  It is called App-V Sequencing Engineer (ENG-70) and is backed by our new 007 Guarantee (Longer Explanation, Brief Explanation)

Our App-V training is unique in several ways:

  • It gives fundamental background on how apps work under Windows7
  • It gives training on Structured Troubleshooting
  • It focuses only on Sequencing - for those whose primary job today involves packaging, they can learn the part of App-V they are going to have to pound on day-in and day-out.

Also, for the 25% or more of applications that cannot be virtualized on Windows 7, we have a new course Win7 LUA/Non-Admin Application Integration Engineer (ENG-60)

It focuses on something I think many companies are under-considering when holding out hope that Application Virtualization will be the silver bullet for older applications running on Windows 7.  Especially if those companies have not been doing non-admin user accounts under XP.
