Public Beta for Enhanced Network Device Discovery

OTTAWA, ON. - June 14, 2010 - Enhansoft Inc. has released a Public Beta for Enhanced Network Device Discovery(ENDD), part of the Enhanced Asset Management Suite (http://www.enhansoft.com/pages/products.aspx).

Currently ENDD is designed to automatically scan IP ranges, where each device’s IP address and discovery occurs. Once the device has been discovered a Data Discovery Record (DDR) is created and the device is added to ConfigMgr.

To collect serial number and model information from a device the OIDs need to be manually entered in the OID lookup file. Once entered into the OID lookup file, ENDD will query the respective devices for those OIDs and return the data to ConfigMgr.
