A couple things to know about MMS 2010…
MMS 2010 is quickly upon us and we’re working on a MMS-specific newsletter. It should go out soon and we’ll also place a copy of it on the site for everyone to view. We’re working hard on moving the current site to a brand, new server – which is what the hold-up is for the newsletter. That should all be complete shortly.
Anyway, here’s some key information to know about MMS 2010 and how to hook-up with the myITforum crew.
The myITforum.com party is Tuesday night, April 20th, from 7-9pm. You’ll be able to find it by following the signs, but as you traverse the conference the first couple days keep an eye out for Casanova 503. We have 6 rooms this year for the party, but Casanova 503 will be the actual entrance. We’re still finalizing some things for the party, but this year we’re going to have a LIVE BAND! The band is comprised of a community member and also a 2010 AMERICAN IDOL participant. What?? Yep…I said it. So, you’ll definitely want to get a party button for this. Remember, only those with a party button get to attend the party. We’re expecting to be swamped again at the booth as folks line-up to get their party invite, so come early as the Expo opens on Monday night.
We want to thank the party sponsors this year, and you should want to thank them to. You can thank them by visiting their web sites and checking out their products and services:
Microsoft
1E
Secure Vantage
Matrix42
Viewfinity
The myITforum.com booth number is #636 this year. We’re toward the back, catty corner from the Microsoft pavilion on the left.
Booth times:
Monday, April 19, 2010 5:30pm – 8:30pm
Tuesday, April 20, 2010 12:30pm – 4:00pm
Wednesday, April 21, 2010 12:30pm – 6:30pm
Thursday, April 22, 2010 12:30pm – 2:30pm
BTW: We’re looking for booth workers. If you have some time on your schedule and have a couple hours to pitch in…let me know.
OK…so there’s more, but will all be included in the upcoming MMS newsletter.
