Win7 Secrets: Creating a Godmode Control Panel App in Windows 7

Published 04 January 10 11:13 AM | rodtrent

This seems useful, but I’ve yet to delve too far into it – but will later today.

In Windows 7, you can generate a new “Control Panel” that includes 283 items to sift through by following a couple easy steps:

  1. Create a new folder (right-click and click on “New Folder”).
  2. Right-click on the folder and click on rename, copy and paste this:

GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

It creates a new Folder that looks like this:

GodmodeIcon

And, is filled with new and old items to sift through.
