System Center Influencers

Microsoft is serious about developing their Influencers Program and needs your help.  They are so serious, in fact, that they are running a contest with prizes to get your interactivity and content.

What is it?

Microsoft is currently running a "community contest".  You can find more about it here:  http://blogs.technet.com/systemcenter/archive/2009/11/11/blog-influence-and-win-a-contest-for-influencers.aspx

What do I win?

Winners get $100.00, recognition on the Microsoft Web sites, and enhanced reputations in the community.

What do I do?

From now until November 30th, blog on business-related themes that talk about System Center or Virtualization related topics.

Is there some sort of catch?

The only catch is that you need to BE part of the System Center Influencers Program.  Read more about it here:  http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/systemcenter/ee532416.aspx

How do I join the System Center Influencers Program?

If you are interested in joining this program, send your name, a professional description, and Windows Live ID to scnetsup@microsoft.com. You can also email this alias with any questions about our tools, resources, or mission.

What else?

Well, for one, you might check out the Official Rules, and then grab the overview [PDF] as a keepsake.

Entries will be judged on relevance, volume of posts and attached commentary, uptake and in-linking, and overall influence.
