1E’s mission to lower overall IT operational costs fuels growth, as Enterprise organizations adoption of proven Green IT solutions increases

LONDON, UK – 06th August, 2009 – 1E, a leading provider of software and services that specializes in reducing IT operational costs within business and government environments, today announced that its business has grown 48% for the first 6 months compared to the same period in 2008. 1E extends its global market leading position in PC Power Management with four million licenses sold and is achieving significant success with its other cost reduction solutions. Over 1,100 organizations worldwide are now making significant cost savings in managing their Windows environment through the use of proven 1E solutions in distributed desktop, server and data center environments.

“As the pioneer of the PC Power Management market, I am delighted that organizations are adopting green technology as a means for cost reduction and energy savings”, commented Sumir Karayi, CEO, 1E.

Adding: “It is very easy to make claims on future savings but 1E is proud to have delivered proven solutions that save customers money in these difficult economic times. We were first to market over 10 years ago and since then our products have helped organizations save substantial costs and reduce their impact on the environment.”

Recent 1E enterprise customer wins include AT&T, CSC, Citigroup, Raytheon, State of West Virginia, Target Corporation and the US Department of Veterans Affairs.
CSC is using 1E’s market leading NightWatchman software to automatically and safely power down more than 25,000 desktop computers during non-work hours. The move is expected to save more than 10 million kilowatt hours of electricity a year and eliminate 5,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions – equivalent to taking 1,500 cars off the road.
