I was checking out Steve Rachui’s blog this morning and saw that he had a great post on using SCUP with the WSUS Self-Signed Cert Option so in case you missed it I have the intro and a link below.  He has the complete list of steps including detailed screen shots so you won’t miss a thing

 

System Center Updates Publisher and WSUS Self-Signed Cert Option

What exactly do you need to do to get your environment ready to use the System Center Updates Publisher (SCUP) with the WSUS Self-Signed Cert (WSSC) option?  There are a few key steps. 

First, you have to configure SCUP to sign patches with the WSSC.  To do that, select the settings option from the console screen:
