Your headline is a little misleading here; Shavlik's NetChk Protect users are protected from this vulnerability but the announcement clearly focuses on warning users of Microsoft-only patch management solutions that they need to take steps to protect themselves from this Adobe vulnerability and that the landscape for new threats is certainly expanding.
