When did Amazon.com add the Associates browser bar?

This is a great idea from the Amazon.com folks.  They call it their “site stripe”.

If you have an Amazon.com Associate account, Amazon.com automatically places the bar at the top of the browser window, giving you quick click access to the Associate functions that you use most like:

  • Creating HTML for the product or product area.
  • Adding the page’s item to your aStore.
  • Quick-checking your Earnings Summary.
  • Finding out what’s new.
  • Participating in the Discussion Boards.
  • And, customizing the bar.

I like it!
