How to get Hotfixes for System Center products

Published 08 October 08 08:51 AM | rodtrent

Hotfixes discussed in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) articles can now be requested online by doing the following:

  1. If you do not know the KB article number, you can search for it. You can also enter additional criteria keywords which may be relevent to the product feature or symptoms experienced (For example: KBQFE Notification Subscription).
  2. Once you have a KB article reference number, you can submit a request to Microsoft Online Customer Services to obtain a hotfix.
Important Note: Hotfixes should only be applied to systems that are experiencing a specific problem described in the KB article. The hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by the problem described in the KB article, we recommend that you wait for the next service pack that contains the hotfix.
