Have you sent an email to the SMS Doc Feedback alias recently?

As most of you should know already, you can send emails directly to the ConfigMgr/SMS docs team at Microsoft using the smsdocs@microsoft.com alias.  The docs team monitors this email address and responds to most feedback, but definitely takes all feedback to this email alias seriously.

Your initial email to the alias will result in an auto-reply, but will generally be followed up later on by a “real” person.  However, the auto-reply now has an interesting line item.  Here’s what you’ll get in return (but, notice the last line in the reply…I’ve highlighted it in red):

Thank you for contacting the SMS and Configuration Manager Doc Feedback alias.  This alias is used to collect and respond to customer comments concerning documentation published for Configuration Manager and Systems Management Server .  A member of the content team will review and respond to your message. Note that support questions cannot be addressed through this alias. Links to support options are provided at the end of this message.
