Course Outline

Day 1

Implement Touch Deployment together with WDS and ImageX, for both client and server operating systems - Windows XP SP3 , Windows Vista SP1, Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 and Windows Server 2008. Advanced Sysprep handling, working with answer files using WSIM (Windows System Image Manager). Driver Management, creating hardware independent images.

Day 2

Deploying Windows XP SP3 and Windows Vista SP1 with SCCM 2007. Installing and configuring Zero Touch Installation (ZTI). We will go in depth in the various SCCM deployment components, including techniques for troubleshooting.

Day 3

Advanced customization of Windows PE 2.1, components, drivers, etc. Using the new tools in WAIK 1.1 (Windows Automated Installation Kit). Customizing USMT 3.0.1 for supporting additional application, data and settings.
