The myITforum.com Party Sign
Thanks to Chris Stauffer for sharing these photos. These are pictures of the myITforum.com Party sign for MMS 2008, as I mentioned in my earlier story about Henry "face plant" Wilson.
Here's my wife, Henry, and myself at the myITforum.com party...

Here's the same pose, except I'm watching to see what Ron is going to do out of the corner of my eye...

Here's Henry holding the myITforum.com party sign in front of the TAO restaurant...

Also, Ron posted the "rest of the story" earlier, so I thought I'd do the Seinfeld thing and bring us full circle.
If you don't understand it, read the original post to capture the entire story.
From Ron...
Well, this is "most" of the story...but there is a lot more...and it just gets funnier.
Yes, I grab the sign and took off running...which Henry would have NEVER caught me.
So, I take off running out into the main lobby of the convention center and I look up and there are TWO security guards walking down the steps and immediately spot me running. So, I'm not one that wants to get into trouble, I slow down.
However, just about the time I slow down I hear what sounded like a training derailing...and a huge UGGH. The next thing I know Henry's glasses rolled across the floor beside. I was about 20 feet in front of him. I quickly glance back to see what had happened, only to see Henry's face scooting across the floor like a character in a cartoon. Henry's legs were off the ground, flying through the air, and the only thing touching the ground was his face. Then a quick two or three barrel roles and Henry was back on his feet like nothing had happened.
I later found out he just about took out three or four other people as he exited the party and that is why he fell...in order not to run over anyone.
It was quite the sight to see, and I was "surprised" to see Henry move that fast.
I was even more surprised that Henry shipped me the sign.
So, last night after Tee-ball and Little League games I came home and found the FedEx package and then I had to tell the story to my wife. She was in tears laughing so hard.
I also showed her a picture of Henry and we both agreed that I was "lucky" to get away!
It was a great time and a memory I will not soon forget!
