Does anything really happen the morning after the MMS closing party?
Apparently. Most folks skip sessions, or fly out early on Friday of MMS. It's a general rule. But, the MS folks decided to actually announce something on Friday -- buggers.

Of course, the blog post also says something about the "morning after", suggesting that people actually "liked" the closing party. I think 2,500 attendees agree on this one (i.e. less the 1,500 newbies this year) that this was probably the worst closing party we've seen in the history of MMS. The conference was so great otherwise, though, I don't think it tarnished this year too badly.
Meg and I knew it was going to be bad when we arrived about 20 minutes late and crowds of people were already streaming by us, heading back to their rooms, the casino, other restaurants, or other parties. It was a mass exodus.
The myITforum.com party was a smashing success, though. Hmmm...
