I was in Florida, thinking of Cerino

I was in the airport on my way back from Florida and a newspaper insert caught my eye.  It was a review of a recent Van Halen concert in that area.  So, I picked it up to read it, primarily because Craig Cerino is such a big fan.  The more I read, the more I knew that I needed some sort of pictoral evidence of it, just for Craig.

I whipped out my Smartphone and started taking pictures.  Folks around me, sitting at the gate, were looking at me a bit strange, but I plodded on.  Here’s what I found.

But…here’s the thing that made me chuckle out loud, and the thing that had most folks around me thinking I was a bit strange.  Right next to the whole article was an advertisement for an Ed Asner appearance in Palm Beach.

I’m not sure why I thought this was especially funny, except for the fact that Diamond Dave is probably about the same age, and that Ed Asner was promoted on the same page as VH.  How degrading!  It was almost like viewing the article on a Google ad sponsored site where Google rarely sticks the right ad to match the content.
