My search for a new RSS reader

Published 06 November 07 01:39 PM | rodtrent

Over the past couple days I’ve been searching for a new RSS reader, as I mentioned in the past couple myITforum.com Daily News broadcasts.  John Gormly sent me the link to a new one that he uses.

I may try this out today.

Rod - I think you can finally go to a browser based reader (Google Reader). I was a die hard RSS reader fan but I finally made the switch as I was jumping between computers a lot + my laptop. It is da bomb and it has a lot of great keyboard commands to speed you through your feeds. In addition, install Google Gears and you can read your feeds offline. There are no worries about syncing feed reading states and subscriptions between computers. To boot, the mobile version is awesome and very nicely made for the small screen. Three thumbs up!
