June 27, 2007 - For many movie fans, Bruce Campbell is one of the greatest cinematic icons ever. Sure, he might not be as famous to mainstream audiences as Tom Hanks or Matt Damon, but this is Ash from Sam Raimi's Evil Dead trilogy we're talking about here. Thanks to his hysterical performance in those films, Campbell has a legion of fans who are always eager to see his next project.
Those fans don't have to look any further this summer than USA's new show Burn Notice. The spy-themed series stars Jeffrey Donovan as a former spy, and Campbell as his colleague Sam. I recently spoke to Campbell about Burn Notice and his role in it. We also discussed Campbell's cameos in his old friend and collaborator Sam Raimi's Spider-Man films, and other upcoming projects, including his new movie My Name is Bruce.
