NCAA 1978 NCAA Championship Game - Kentucky Wildcats vs Duke Blue Devils DVD
Kentucky's goose Jack Givens put on one of the finest individual performances in NCAA History. Leading the Wildcats past the Blue Devils 94-88. This was UK's first Championship in 20 years.
This championship game was probably my first memory of UK basketball. Even thought Givens went-off on a scoring tear, Kyle Macy’s play is what made me such a basketball nut. I remember Kyle driving the lane, dribbling the ball between his legs to keep the defenders’ hands away from the ball, and scooping up a lay-up. Classic!
