Chris Pirillo gives me a nickname, explains why his newsletters are spamming

On the issue I posted about here and here…from Chris:

Here's the problem, Sparky...

Those emails are generated from the feeds from the blogs that aren't being updated with new content... I haven't yet found the people to continue them, so when a part of that feed updates, the email gets sent to the subscribers.

It's not spam, technically - it's just that we've lost certain people who were keeping those channels up to date.

Hmmm…so, technically — I’m not receiving Spam — it just looks like Spam.

Me:  I don’t like Spam!

Chris:  Well, there's spam egg sausage and spam, that's not got much spam in it.

Me: Could you do the egg bacon spam and sausage without the spam then?

Chris: Eewwww!

This may be a unique way that Spammers can take advantage of dead blog links.  A dead blog turned into a Spam bot.
