Momcommunity.com moving to SystemCenterCommunity.com, but also migrating to Community Server

Silect Software, the company that owns/runs Momcommunity.com is moving to this new domain — and at first glance they will also be moving their site to Community Server (what we use for blogs).  Scott Moss originally posted about this, so I went to see what was up.

BTW: We considered using Community Server’s forums module recently for myITforum.com, but there’s a huge number of complaints about the performance out on the web.  Our current forum software is the best and we’ll stick with it for now.  Hopefully, in the future the forums module of Community Server will be worth looking into.

Here’s the announcement:

COMING MONDAY MAY 28th!

momcommunity.com and Silect Software are pleased to announce SystemCenterCommunity.com - your community site for everything to do with System Center. On Monday, May 28th, SystemCenterCommunity.com will go live and will offer enhanced discussion groups, file downloads and blog hosting for our most valuable users. All momcommunity userIDs as well as most of the forum postings will be moved to an Operations Manager forum in the new site.

Thank-you for making momcommunity.com the #1 independent site for Microsoft Operations Managers users and we hope you find SystemCenterCommunity.com a great site to gather and share knowledge about Operations Manager as well the other System Center products.

We encourage you to visit the new site and provide us with your feedback.

Regards,

momcommunity Admin
