More Wifi woes...

Yep — you guessed it…I’m back to using a wired network connection.  Even after Alexander’s suggestion, which seemed to work at first, my internal wireless card is gone again.  Yesterday, when it happened, I restarted, went into the BIOS setup, accepted BIOS defaults, rebooted, and the wireless card worked again.

So — I tried the same thing this morning.  No luck.  It’s just too intermittant of a problem to put any rhyme or reason to a defined fix.  I received a comment in my last post about this saga, and it looks like I’m not alone.  Both of us have a HP laptop.

I also have an HP and similarly lost my internal wifi card last Wednesday.  I already had the latest BIOS, but reflashed anyway.  No luck.  Looks like a hardware problem here.
