Starting with a review of the changes in SMS 2003 R2, this in-depth technical drilldown looks into the two key new features of this release: Vulnerability Analysis and Custom Updates Distribution. This is followed by review of Windows Vista deployment using the SMS OS Distribution Feature Pack, new Asset Management features in SMS SP3 and the recently announced Application Virtualization offering. The second half of the session looks into the upcoming Configuration Manager 2007 features and architecture, with details of new solutions offered by the Desired Configuration Management, NAP and Internet Client management features.
