PowerGUI community -- powered by you? No, powered by Quest.

Quest has announced a new “community” around their PowerGUI product.  At first glance, it looks like a standard, 3rd party community site.  But, just click on the Legal Agreement.

Press release about the PowerGUI “community”

What is PowerGUI?  It’s a free graphical user interface for Windows PowerShell.

Maybe someone in this “community” could invent their own Windows PowerShell GUI to share, since we already have a horde of Windows PowerShell content and scripts available. (hoping I’m putting a bug in someone’s ear)

BTW: Here’s an interesting blurb from the Legal Agreement…

By signing up for the Community, you are consenting to have your registration information forwarded to Quest and to the Community communicating with you as mentioned above. Occasionally, Quest may use your registration information to communicate with you regarding products, services and/or support that may be relevant to members of the Community. This may include new product information, special offers or possibly an invitation to participate in market research.

Seems like it is taking an awfully long time to adjust that legal agreement.  He did say 'which will be removed promptly' didn't he?
