MMS 2007 - CommNet Open for Alumni!
MMS CommNet access is now open to Alumni for this year’s event. This gives all registered Alumni 10 days before the site opens to other attendees on February 19th, giving you an opportunity to review the breakouts and labs and to build your schedule before all registered attendees have access to the booking system.
As you probably remember from previous years, the Hands-on Labs at MMS are always popular and many lab sessions will be fully booked well before the event opens. We strongly recommend that you should use this opportunity to book slots in the labs that interest you now, while spaces are still available in all sessions.
Lab Overview
Lab topics will again be offered in two formats. Four rooms are dedicated to Instructor-led lab (ILL) sessions where the lab owner provides an introduction to the lab content and leads attendees through the lab procedure. This year two additional lab areas adjacent to the CommNet area are dedicated to Self-paced sessions where attendees can complete their choice of lab topics without an instructor but with lab proctor support.
Lab sessions match breakout session slots and are 75 minutes long. Lab rooms are also available for unsupervised use during lunch breaks and after scheduled sessions finish for the day. Scheduled lab sessions start on Monday 26th March, one day before the breakout sessions, providing an opportunity to attend labs without missing any of the valuable breakout presentations. These Monday lab sessions are very popular and tend to become fully booked early.
Registered attendees may reserve places in up to 3 lab sessions prior to the event. One week before the event attendees may book an additional 2 lab sessions and once the event opens any number of slots may be reserved. A listing of all Breakout and Lab sessions is provided on the event web site Sessions Page. More information about the Hands-on Labs at the event is also available on the Hands-on Lab page at the site.
