A new blog has been launched covering the Xbox 360 world as seen through the eyes of an SDTV owner. It's pretty new, but it will review games and give viewers ideas on how well games will look on standard def sets.

Christmas memories for my kids
28 December 06 02:52 PM | rodtrent | with no comments

I loved Christmas as a kid, and isn’t it great as you have kids of your own that you can share your own memories with them?  I sometimes sit and talk to them about the cool toys I had as a kid, and all conversation eventually leads to the Evel Knievel Daredevil Stunt Set.  This was one of my favorite toys as a kid.  I had hours upon hours of fun with this, and it’s one of my great toy memories.

So, I was surprised and excited to see that it has been re-released.  The entire set was completely manufactured using the same, original Ideal toy molds.  My youngest and I are playing with this right now, as a matter of fact.  I’ll take pictures of it and post later on.

The reviews on Amazon.com don’t give this toy set justice.  One person complains about not being able to move the crank (have we all become that soft?).  If you had one of these as a kid, I highly suggest picking one up for your kids.
