The folks that developed our Blogging software, just released a new, cool add-on that works for just about any blogging service: BlogMailr. My post just prior to this one was a test of the new BlogMailr service. It works great! If you are a myITforum.com blogger, sign-up for the service and blog your heart away from inside your favorite email client.

BlogMailr as the name applies,allows users to send email to a blog. While there have been other blog add-ons for email enabling a blog, what makes this tool unique is that it is not tied to any one particular blogging application. There are no add-ons to install, no configuration steps, no email settings to worry about, etc.
In addition, even though we are though we are the proud creators of Community Server, this service is not tied to Community Server. We tested on Blogger, TypePad, WordPress, DasBlog, SubText, and just about any other service we could get our hands on.
Finally, in addition to allowing you to make posts to your blog, we have build in full support for the MetaBlog API's newMediaObject so you can easily embed images (either inline or as an attachment).
