Double-clicking on the address in the Address bar produces nothing
I use this function quite a bit in IE, for either copying an address or selecting the entire field so I can enter a new address. When you double-click on the address in the IE Address field, the complete address is selected — this is similar to any function in Windows (i.e., Windows itself, MS Office apps for selecting an entire word or phrase, even the lowly Notepad).
In Firefox, I’m left wondering what they want me to do. It seems Firefox went outside the normal conventions and decide either to… a) forget to follow the normal conventions, or b) try to do something different. Despite whether they dropped the ball or just simply overlooked this function, it’s another instance where the IE interface is just “quicker” than the Firefox interface.
