Speed - Firefox versus IE7

I’m really impressed. It appears that the Firefox folks have spent a lot of time fixing the speed problems that plagued Firefox in the past. Firefox is still about a second and a half behind IE7 for loading web sites, but that’s nominal. Firefox used to lag about 3–4 seconds (sometimes more) behind IE6. Now, speed-wise, Firefox and IE are much more level footing.
