AOL 9.0 Accused of Behaving Like Badware

It’s amazing, though, that this is the first time we’ve heard about this in the news media.  This has been going on for years.  IT folks have cringed for years any time they were approached with a AOL question.  Why only now do we hear about it?

Well, because, the media continues to be like vultures on a dead carcass.  They wait until a company is down (like the AOL woes blasted in the news lately), and then gang up to kick it for page views and column readers.  Not a bad racket, really.

You have to give it to these StopBadware.org folks, though.  They’ve finally broken the news media firewall.  Great coverage!
