HP cuts back on telecommuting

Hewlett-Packard, the Silicon Valley company known for pioneering flexible work arrangements four decades ago, is canceling telecommuting for a key division of the company.

Blogger’s Note:  I hope this is not a coming trend.  And, if it is, when will employees start asking for reimbursement for traveling time to work?  I mean, with gas prices skyrocketing, this can’t be good for the employee who is used to telecommuting.  This is completely the wrong time for a company like HP to change.  Well, then again, this is the same company that hired Carly, who drug the company down, and then gave her millions of dollars to leave.
