Beans Beans Good For Your Heart (Really!)

Apparantly the youthful author of the "Musical Fruit" limericks was a wiser sage than we ever knew. One of my newsletters pointed out some to the benefits of a diet rich in beans. "Reduce your blood levels of C-reactive protein (CRP) -- a possible indicator of heart disease risk -- with a few servings of beans each week."

So reduce that CRP you are lugging around and go out and eat more beans!
