Conservative talk show host Glenn Beck is fed up with all the Political Correctness run amuck with the on-going asault on Christmas, so he's come up with a parody song to help you avoid using the 'C' word.

Sung to the Burl Ives tune Have a Holly Jolly Christmas:

Have a Rammahanuquazmas

Its the PC time of year

Every holiday's displayed

Because of morbid fear

Happy Rammahanuquazmas

Yeah, we know the name is queer

Oh good golly cant offend nobody on _____mas This year

Oh no, the Eskimos

Need a holiday We'll get right back to you

When we think up one for teh geys (yay!)

Happy Rammahanuquazmas

What a time for winter cheer

But if you see a ____mas tree

Youll hear ___mas jeers (boo!)

Screw you, ACLU

For winning the twelve Million in your lawsuit

Verses Santa and his elves

Happy Rammahanuquazmas

And everyone must now adhere

So by golly, dont hang up that holly on ___mas

This year

(yeah...and no more sleigh bells either)

I have to say I agree! If you wan to hear the song, listen to the Glenn Beck Show!

Oh horrors! You look around, and it is as if the Internet never happened! It's a Wonderful Internet explores that possibility with a familiar format and it is quite enjoyable!

I'd credit the blogger who turned me on to this, but it's as if he never existed! In fact you can't be reading this, and I have to give back half my college credit. Hey, I met my wife on the net....

Along with their updated FLEXnet Admin Studio Edition, Macrovision has released great white paper entitled Mastering Software Management: Application Packaging and the Microsoft BDD.(requires registration) The paper is a quick read and gives an excellent overview of the also outstanding Business Desktop Deployment solution accelerator from Microsoft in addition to how FLEXnet AdminStudio fits in.

I love it when technologies unite to create something greater than the individual units. I buy a lot of things on line. Invariably the company you make a purchase from sends you a confirmation email followed a bit later by the shipping information. In the past, I would copy the tracking number, go the the shipping company's web site, look for the tracking information page, click on agreement, paste into the form, click for the expected delivery date, then click for where the package was last.

Not any more! Quite by accident the other day, I pasted a UPS tracking number into my Google tool bar and hit enter. Low and behold, one click later I am looking at my expected delivery time on www.ups.com ! Now that's what Web 2.0 is all about!

Don't you just hate it when someone links to their blog in an email list just so you can click a link when you get there?

Okay, I'll admit I've not been following Macrovision real closely, but when did the FLEXnet get added to the name of AdminStudio? From the MS Download page:

Overview

FLEXnet AdminStudio SMS Edition is the result of collaboration between Macrovision (formerly InstallShield), and the Microsoft Systems Management Server team to provide a compelling integration story for customers seeking to simplify their Windows Installer software repackaging, customization, and distribution efforts.

FLEXnet AdminStudio provides enterprises with the ability to prepare, publish, and distribute software packages via SMS 2003 without ever touching the SMS server console, significantly improving the efficiency of application management efforts.

FLEXnet AdminStudio SMS Edition includes the full-featured industry leading InstallShield Repackager that prepares one or more legacy setup.exe packages for deployment by converting it to a Windows Installer .MSI package. The InstallShield Tuner is included to assist in customizing MSI packages by adding files, changing registry settings, adding license keys, removing registration wizards, or making other modifications that will then be compiled in a transform (MST). Finally, a Distribution Wizard and secure SMS Web console are included to assist in handing the packages off for distribution through Systems Management Server 2003.
