I am Kung Fu Master.

I like to be in control of myself. I dislike crowds, especially crowds containing people trying to kill me. Even though I always win, I prefer to avoid fights if possible.

  • [Events] Wally Mead–UK–November 4th–ConfigMgr 2012 all the way

WMUG are very much delighted to invite you to an entire day of ConfigMgr, presented by none other than Senior Program Manager Wally Mead.

The day is hosted at the Microsoft Campus in Reading on the 4th of November, and Wally will be covering ConfigMgr 2012 with his usual gusto, and unique way of answering long questions with short answers!

This is a day not to be missed if ConfigMgr 2012 is on your radar right now, from managers to hands-on IT staff, by the end of the day you’ll leave with a pretty good understanding from top to bottom of the latest version of ConfigMgr.

I’ll be there along with the rest of the WMUG guys, and free to chat about the new product features, so if you spot me feel free pull me to the side and ask away! But be warned … I’ll check if you haven’t read the growing online documentation yet, and remove you from the SWAG raffle at the end of the day if the answers in the documentation!

We’re set on recording the day again, so a video will eventually go online for those that miss the event.

To register, visit the Microsoft World Wide Events website and click the register button.

  • Going Hans Solo

Lots of folk get all irrational when you mention scuba diving (the solo bit) on your own, the amount of times jaws have dropped when I've brought the subject up sigh ... I think its because they feel threatend, and I don't mean physically endangered, I mean it goes against what certain training agencies drill into them over and over and it is something they, specifically, wouldn't do, or they haven't matured or mastered their diving to the point that they can think independently of the courseware and instruction that they have received over the years, and start to grow on their own.

I'm taking this course soon, just trying to book the time off: http://www.tdisdi.com/index.php?did=60&site=3

So whats Hans Solo got to do with this? It's in the name! Hans went Solo 24/7!
