I am Kung Fu Master.

I like to be in control of myself. I dislike crowds, especially crowds containing people trying to kill me. Even though I always win, I prefer to avoid fights if possible.

  • More StArWaRs-ness!

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is out!

And yup, as I type it's installing it's bloated form on to my HDD (night on 4GB of space required, wow) ... i've got practically every star wars game ever released. One of my fav's was Jedi Knight 2 which allowed you to weild a Saber and duel with friends, quality game for LAN parties, friggin awesome!

This release of SWBF promises to let you become a Jedi, and run around doing things with light emitting poles of death! can't ask for anything more!

May the fork be with you

  • Portable keyboard

    Holy cow!

I so want one of these to try out!

If anyone can send me one, pm me so I can give you my address! I promise to do a full write-up of it using the keyboard!

If it's responsive enough, and works in 99% of conditions, day\night then this would suit me down to the ground ;-)

  • Kaiser Chiefs

Went to see the Kaiser Chiefs last night at the Brixton Academy.

The venue is not very big, so with all those people crammed in, it got very hot. Fortunately when we got outside, well the weather is still warm for this time of year, so wasn't chilled to the bone!

Company I was with was great as usual. Was a great night, and enjoyed every minute of it!

And a selection of VMW Guests to download from the VMWare Technology Network. Created by the likes of IBM, Novell, MySQL ...

such a bold move, because it's all free!

  • Long day ...

Just got back from a day out at the Microsoft Reading campus for the UK Community Leaders meeting. Was fun meeting loads of new people, bit overwhelming trying to remember a torrent of new names and acronyms. Enjoyable though.

This was the UK Windows Management Groups first proper get together. Good to get to see the faces behind the email addresses ;-)

Barcelona IT Forum 2005 is a no-go for me. Shame as I was looking forward to the content there. Such a busy day, and this week I was on night-shift so kidna out of phase with everyone else. Urgh. Early night for me me thinks.

  • Doube agreed ... pay for news sites, fear them no more

Rod Trent posted this earlier as a follow up on Johns posting about pay-for-news websites.

Those sites, they annoy me silleh.

But there is hope: www.bugmenot.com is quite a good site for circumventing (in a good, and healthy kind of way) these registration requests to view news.

Usual disclaimer: I do not use this website, my dog doesn't use it. My Iron has no knowledge of this and nor do my neighbours either. NSFW and definately not condoned but worth knowing about ;-)
