Too many stories to mentioned here but ...Ron's Web Tools are a great example where through minimal effort these tools can be implemented thus providing SMS functionality to user groups thereby reducing the time from request to software delivery with licensing records updated dynamically using the Software Deployment compenent of the Web Tools

This was embraced in our company to reduce the time from initiated request to the software delivery and the ticket being closed by Asset Management to ensure license counts are properly recorded and maintained. This was a way to give normal users access to certain SMS activities that have been configured to be tightly managed by the SMS Sdmin.

My management loves these tools and I wish the heretofore mentioned "Web Essentials" v4 that was announced a while ago could come to fruition and actually be delivered. Any issues that remain in the tool can easilly be flushed out by the many folks that have tweaked the old version. C'mon..Ron.. Get off it...

Well, that was the long way to get to my point...PLEASE DONATE ! I have now and plan severaL MORE DONATIONS as the year goes on.

It is an unbelievable resource with so mant talented folks, MVP's, MCSE's, Microsofties and vendors that create the excelent content ans email traffic that this site receives.

Rod & Ron ... You guys do one HELL of a Job and I hope it keeps up!

I am pretty much in line with the reuirements ranking 1 through 8. One thing that I would like to add for the scenarios is the ability to do customizations to what you and others have built into this tool. As an example, the customer that I am at right now wants the ability to do file transfers to PCs, so I am planning on adding a button for that as that feature is no longer in SCCM.

Regarding your 3 improvement questions:

1) I recommend this tool to my customers when they have remote support techs that don't need the entire SCCM Console. It's a lot easier to have them use a lightweight web interface than load up the console.

2) Remote Control and pushing apps are the two big wins for me.

3) Initiating a Remote Control to a client is critical, especially across a WAN.

Thanks,
