So, knowing some people complain about Vista...which I personally have had no issues with Vista...and knowing that Microsoft has Windows 7 due out in 2010...is there people considering to skip vista? If that is the case, do you think the communities will pressure Windows 7 to come out in 2009? What is the main reason for not going to Vista? Is it because of the memory requirements? Now, for the ones...

Vista SP1 - 2 hours in, 2 hours out - nothing to show for it - Rod Trent at myITforum.com Wow, Rod had some issue with installing SP1. Not sure why his upgrade failed or why it took two hours...I wonder what type of PC he has? Hopefully he will have better luck with it the next time. Here is how it is suppose to run !!

WOW...I'm impressed. 45 minutes and a reboot or two in-between and SP1 for Vista x64 was up and running. Not sure if it's just me or what...but I think its a lot faster and smoother! Way to go Microsoft!

First thing I noticed... New command line for using Terminal Services Client (mstsc.exe) The new switch to connect to the server's active console session is: %systemroot%\system32\mstsc.exe /admin Not sure why the change...but enjoy! Plus the old /console doesn't work anymore! That vacuums!

If you are a subscriber you can download Vista SP1 now. The 64bit exe with all the languages is 764 MB. WOW!

Review: Samsung's 64GB flash hard drive Nice review of a flash hard drive laptop. This technology should be the greatest way to increase performance of any computer device. I'm excited about this...now they just need to become affordable and I'll buy one to test it out. Or if you have one to give me, I'll do a review of it and post my findings here.

The word is NO they will not be releasing an AdminPak for Vista. The recommended process is to RDP into the server and use the tools within the Server.
