Well, my Xbox 360 died over the weekend. It is amazing how much we use this device. Not only as a gaming system, but as a Media Center. Uggh! My son got Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games for Christmas and we played it last night for the first time. WOW, I love this game. If you own a Nintendo Wii I would highly recommend you getting this game.

30 years ago...wow. Has it been that long!! Debuting in 1977 at $199 it brought gaming into the family household in a big way. I remember getting a used Atari 2600 from an ad my parents found in the paper (200 Bucks was a lot to spend on electronics back then!). Now I'm playing an X360 (most recetly playing Halo 3) and a Wii (most recently Mario Party 8)! What's your favorite Atari game?

My son (and I for that matter) have been playing our old Xbox games and we have been playing Mario Party 8 on the Wii. Mario Party 8 is a fun game for the whole family. Nate (my 7 year old son) is VERY competitive (like me) and I will have to stop playing because he is getting so mad at the game. I do think the game cheats when you are playing against the computer.
