So you can be ready for when Configuration Manager 2012 is released you need to get your head around some new features with Configuration Manager 2012. One of which is the Application Model.
The Application Model has been designed to provide different deployment types (MSI, Script, AppV, Mobile and more) to different scenarios. Using this model, conditions, rules and predefined relationships can be dynamically calculated at delivery to determine the best application experience for the user on the hardware and connection they are using.
