The new Web Remote Tools are approaching beta release
So, way back when I posted about the end of the life for Web Remote Tools for SMS 2003/Configuration Manger 2007.
So after much pain and suffering resolving some what I thought were minor issues, turned out to be some major design issues. So, I went back to the drawing board. This was the first public look at the new version, but some of the look and feel has changed over time.
Then I posted http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/rcrumbaker/archive/2008/09/10/web-essentials-aka-web-remote-tools-v4.aspx I was hoping to get some more information about what the end user wanted…Some replied directly to me while others replied to the blog.
So, entering the final stages of Alpha Code I need to know if some functionality needs to be present:
Do you need/want/require Remote Assistance?
Do you need/want/require ability to customize (add your own code, etc.)?
Do you need/want/require preconfigured themes?
Do you need/want/require remote registry editing capabilities?
Do you need/want/require work from a mobile device?
What functionality would you want to see in the new version?
