Vista64 and 4 Gig of RAM

If you have ever tried to setup Vista 64 bit on a system with 4 gig of RAM and you get a stop error of 7E or 0A...try this:

Remove two gig of RAM and run the install for Vista64.

Once you get the Vista installed and working...

Grab the patch outlined in this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929777/en-us

Direct link -> Download the KB929777 package now for Vista 64 Bit.

Now you should be able to reinstall the other 2 gig of RAM.
