Well, what a trip!

First, my initial flight was cancelled from Owensboro, KY and I had to change to flying out of Nashville, TN.  No big deal except for having a 2 1/2 hour drive to the airport and my flight was leaving at 8:25 am, thus meaning I had to leave very early.

Then I had to fly from Nasville, TN to Dallas, TX and catch another flight after about 40 minute lay-over.

That lay-over grew to 6 hours due to the flight being cancelled because the airplane had a crack in the windsheild.  Very glad they noticed it while on the ground and not after we took off.  I ran all over the airport trying to get on a plane via the standby list.  FINALLY I got on the fourth flight out after my initial flight being cancelled.

I was hoping to arrive Sunday morning to help get the myITforum.com booth setup, but that didn't happen due to the flight chaos.

So, everthing is great now...right?

No, because I was waiting for a package (the Wii that SMS Expert and myITforum.com) for the booth...however, UPS decided not to deliver that until Wednesday when it was originally scheduled to be there the Friday before!

Now...everything had to start going right now...well, the table we initally got wouldn't hold my LCD TV.  However, I wasn't the only one having TV issues...the GREAT folks at www.intellinet.com were also having problems.  They had this very nice TV stand that wouldn't fit on their TV.  They let us use their TV stand for the duration of the conference.  You guys ROCK intellinet!!  Thanks.

Now things started getting better...

The myITforum.com booth was rocking when the doors open for the Expo...out of the 3200 attendees at the confernence I would say about 3197 of them were trying to get buttons to the myITforum party sponsored by 1E and Microsoft.  Thank you SO much 1E and Microsoft!!  The 3 missing were Rod, Megan and myself!

It was amazing seeing the herd of people come running for the myITforum Party button.  The other vendors were wondering "why the mad rush for a button?"  By the end of the conference, those vendors were wondering how they could get involved with myITforum.com.

Then my session (SC46) came around and I was very pleased with the response of the new SMS Web Essentials v4 session because it was the same time as one of the SoftGrid sessions.  I am very excited about the forth coming release date of the Web Essentials v4.

The myITforum.com unveiled the new look of the web site...which was a huge hit as well.  Lots of feedback.

We also allowed people to play the Wii at our booth.  A huge hit.  Speaking of hits...Josh it was great watching us live "Rocky" on the Wii.  For those that were not around...Josh Searls and I were boxing and we both knocked each other down at the same time (just like Rocky) and my guy got up but Josh stayed knocked out.  However, Josh did win one fight out of three.  I did loose in Bowling to Joseph Hinkle...he also has a Wii at home.

I got some pictures of some blue badgers playing the Wii, but I will not post them so they will not get in trouble.

The SMS Expert Party was amazing...very nice cruise!  Thank you so much for the invite guys!

The Microsoft TechSexy party was nice...but the weather was EXTREMELY COLD.  The whole theme was amazing...Plus seeing Cliff Hobbs doing his techsexy dance to the woman on the other side of the glass window was just amazing.

We had an enjoyable cab ride back to the hotel that night...Mario (Luigi, Game Over!) almost took out a guy walking across the street.

The trip to Pacific Beach was just amazing!!  Intellinet went with us and those guys and gal know how to have fun!

The closing party was way better than last year...Oh, the waitress at D!cks was very touchy feely to one of the guys!

I got to hang with "the myOT guys" pretty much every night and absolutly had a blast...even though they gave me a new nickname.  We saw Beverely many times throughout the night and some Beeferlys and a few times we had to remember if we got the platform setup properly.  Of course we did walk WAY more than we should...we should have just went to Moose's and Henry's rather than trying to find something else...because we always ended up there.

The sessions ROCKED, way better over all then in the past.

I want to personally thank Rod and Megan!

Also the ones that helped out at the booth - Anthony, Mott, John Gormly, Sherry, Josh, Greg, Dan, April, and I'm sure I forgot a few others!

Oh...also everyone who brought my book for me to sign...you guys/gals are awesome and that was very cool!

There is a ton of stuff to talk about with MMS 2007...and I'm running out of time to tell you more...you will just have to go to MMS 2008 in Vegas next year.
