Back in the groove today
Yesterday was a bad day for me... The first time in 9 years that my Camaro had any issue at all. I was about 10 miles from work when she decided to act up. And boy did she every act up. Anywho...to make a long story short, I trailered her home and started working on it...finally dropped it off at the garage I use to work at so I could get to work. I'm not sure what I would do without my Dad helping...
Added some new "cool" stuff to the blog
Don't you just love the word "COOL" Anywho...I changed the Blog list to work a lot better and looks a ton better than the old way. I also added it to the front blog page. Thank you for sticking with me through this...I'm still learning Community Server. I'm also working on some really nice skins, so keep an eye out for them.

After many failed attempts, I finally got the list of bloggers to show on the /blogs page. If there is any Community Server site you see that has some really nice tweaks that you feel we should have here at myITforum, email me and I'll try to get them added. Blackberry Device
I just got my first Blackberry Device this week... I have always not been a fan of these devices because I thought I just didn't need one because I could get my email once I was on the internet... But I have to say, these things are pretty addictive. I find myself responding to emails while I'm driving down the road...(Not the safest thing to do either) I think the technology the Blackberry uses is...

Sure you can...I got this from someone, sorry I don't remember who. $net = $(New-Object -Com WScript.Network) $net.MapNetworkDrive("s:", "\\server\path") You can confirm that your drive mapped with get-wmiobject win32_networkconnection
Powershell to get Computer name, model, manufactures, memory, etc.
Here is an example, which discovers your computer's name, model, manufactures and memory, type: get-wmiobject win32_computersystem If there is another machine on your subnet try these two commands: get-wmiobject -computername othermachine win32_computersystem

Tires
As I posted earlier about my trip to MMS...
The best tires I have ever owned are the Nittos NT450 Extreme.
These tires rock!! They are very sticky for those times you need to get up and go!

MMS 2006
So...how was MMS 2006 for me ? It was great . Started off rocky though... I decided to drive to Nashville the night before so I wouldn't have to drive so far early in the morning...so I decided to leave around 5:00. I always check my tires before I leave...guess what, it was low. So I aired it up and as fast as I put air it, it came out. I had a HUGE rip in the tire. So, my wife and kids were going...
