I went to http://update.microsoft.com initially and was not able to see any of the Office, Exchange, or any of the non-Windows XP updates.  Now that I followed the following steps, I can see the new Microsoft Updates.  I was seeing the new version 6, just not all the other Product Updates.

To get the new Windows Update setup correctly you have to install the v6 client, from the link above, click the Go to Microsoft Update button and follow the instructions. 

Now you can use the following link to complete the process and for future access to Microsoft Update.

http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us

Note: if you use the IE Tools | Windows Update menu selection after completing this process will be automatically redirected to Microsoft Update, if you still see Windows Update even with v6, start at the 1st link above a 2nd time.
