Client Health Advances

Summary: this blog has frequently focused on computer management client health so I hope that my admittedly infrequent blog postings over the last year have not made anyone think that the fine art of client health managment has not advanced significantly in that time.

In the last year I've worked on a variety of projects including power management, content distribution, patch management, and especially client health. I look forward to sharing some of my findings on the client health front at the MMS conference in a mere month. The powerful solutions that were available last year are joined by these important client health advances (in no particular order):

FWIW, I'm truly impressed by the passion of everyone that continues to advance the state of client health management - they should all take great pride in what they've accomplished. As a community we should be very thankful for their support. Given our diverse requirements and options there won't be a single perfect solution for everyone. Having choices is wonderful!

BTW: if I've missed a client health advance, please let me know. I'll be more than pleased to include it in this list.

p.s. I've actually felt rather guilty about neglecting this blog, and thus those that follow it, for so long. I hope that I'll be less neglectful in the future but must admit that I've said that before. I've been VERY busy with computer management work that I believe is important but so much of it has been 'preliminary' that I have felt that I couldn't publish it. I've also spent a lot of time on personal projects (some of which was posted earlier) and adapting to organizational changes. I hope to share more soon.
