Bringing your family to MMS 2007?
Anthony Clendenen lives about an hour and half from San Diego and he put together some popular spots and activities you should be aware of if you are bringing any family members with you to MMS 2007. It would be neat to get some myITforum families together and start a whole new MMS community!
Here’s the info from Anthony…
==========
I live about an hour and half from San Diego and my wife and kids will be coming along to the conference. They already have several plans for the week and I know this topic has come up before but I am thinking we, MIF, might want to send out a "what to do in San Diego" for those bringing family. I have heard from several people that are bringing family and one thing I think everyone would enjoy is the 3 for 1 pass to the San Diego Zoo, the Wild Animal Park, and Sea World. It gets them unlimited visits for 5 days, the price is $107 for adults, $77 for ages 3-9, and free for under 3. And Lego Land is great for younger kids or those that really like LEGO's, it is $57 for an adult and $44 for 3-12 or 60+. There is also the famous Balboa Park there are several museums including the Air & Space Museum, Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, Railroad Museum, Automotive Museum, Model Railroad Museum, Museum of Art, Art Institute…you get the idea. There are also boat tours of the harbor from $15 – 25, whale watching for about $30, shopping, La Jolla and other beaches in the area, and much more.
