I am currently searching for a senior level engineer for the Richmond Area who is solid in the Microsoft technologies. This is a Technical Consulting role where you will be working at client sites delivering the projects in this metro market. The company is a gold level partner to Microsoft and sells the services of specialized infrastructure services to new and existing Microsoft environments.
Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 / System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007 expertise
- Self-motivated
- Must have experience implementing an extensive SMS 2003 / SCCM 2007 environment.
Knowledge Desired:
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft's SMS 2003 / SCCM 2007 product and its patching capabilities as well as application distribution functionality.
- Knowledge of Active Directory capabilities and fundamental structure is important.
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Outstanding technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must have good grasp of how applications typically install on computers and methodologies for packaging them for automated installation.
Education Desired: Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification and/or Microsoft Certified Engineer (MSCE) a plus but not required.
