Perl Developer with HTML/Mason in Atlanta

We have a short-term contract assignment with an Atlanta client who is seeking a Perl Programmer. This assignment starts right away and will run through January or February of next year.

I will be getting some more details from the client in a day or two, and will update this posting as soon as I receive that information. But for now, I can tell you that the client is running a Ticketing system that was developed a couple of years ago by a team of Perl programmers. There are a couple of bugs in the system, and your role will be to analyze these issues and apply the fixes.

To qualify, you must be very experienced in writing, testing, maintaining and implementing Perl programs. You should be familiar with the UNIX platform, and be comfortable working with the Operations and Development teams as you develop these programs. You should also understand MySql and have a working knowledge of SQL. In addition, any experience with HTML Mason would put you in the driver's seat.

I can get an interview set up very quickly, so if you are interested and qualified, here's what you must do:

1. Send me a copy of your resume in MS-Word format.
2. Briefly describe your experience with Perl, and
3. Tell me your hourly rate for a 2-4 month project.

As always, your correspondence will be handled quickly, confidentially and professionally.
Thanks for reading, and I look forward to speaking with you!
