JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Create/Update software MSI-based installation packages for electronic distribution.
- Work with application development and support teams to determine software installation requirements
- Create and test installation packages using Wise Package Studio
- Work with subject matter experts to validate installation packages
- Work with project managers to pilot and deploy software
- Maintain and help establish policies and procedures for the software installation packaging process.
- Manage workflow of packaging requests from request to deployment
- Create and maintain documentation for software packages
- Communicate status and issues to management and key stakeholders
- Assist with SMS administration.
- Setup packages for deployment in SMS
- Perform deployment testing
- Monitor and report deployment status
- Provide server and infrastructure support responsibilities as part of the Intel Server Team.
- Be part of the on-call rotation of the Intel Server Team.
- Be lead point of contact for problem ticket response and resolution
- Be available for after hours support if needed
- Assist with project planning, testing, and implementation tasks.
