Client located in the Philadelphia area currently is looking to fill the position of SMS Engineer.
Required Skills
· In-depth understanding of SMS 2003 configuration, maintenance,
monitoring and operations
· Knowledge of scripting using VB, Windows Scripting Host, WMI and SQL  queries
· Knowledge of AD a plus
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Description of role:
· Engineer, maintain and manage the SMS infrastructure
(troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, upgrades)
· Actively monitor SMS clients health and perform corrective actions accordingly
· Actively manage SMS daily operations (package releases, distribution, reporting)
· Ensure and maintain acceptable level of package distribution success rates to SMS clients
· Analyze engineering requirements for the PC environment and assist in developing appropriate solutions
· Assist desktop team in troubleshooting PC related issues
